The genre I chose to capture was portrait photography because I think it is spontaneously interesting. The thing I like most about it is that in every picture, there is someone smiling. I have captured many images like thuis before. In my opinion, this genre is diverse because it doesn't have to be serious or perfect. These iamges also fall into the category of documentary photography.

8/22/2017 - Digital Editing GIF

The concepts that were used to understand this assignments were primarily learning how to use photo shop. I knew I was prepared for this assignment because I had already learned some aspects of photo shop when I applied the rule of thirds on another assignment. I first inserted the image to photo shop and then I duplicated it four times and added a filter to three of the images. Now I feel like the image conveys a more eyecatching feeling. This assignment connects to the real world because GIF's are very well known on social media.

This is an image of books stacked together. The angle that they are placed create an "N".

This is an image of a blue rail on campus. The way I zoomed in on it created an "I".

This is an image of the edge of a picture frame. The way I zoomed into the picture frame creates a "C".
